The Seven-Chakra Map as a Reflection Tool

The modern seven-centre system, with one reflection question for each.

This is the modern Western seven-chakra model. The themes below are symbolic associations used for reflection, not medical or physical claims.

The seven centres

  • Root (Muladhara) — base of the spine; themes of safety and grounding. Ask: Where do I feel secure?
  • Sacral (Svadhisthana) — lower abdomen; creativity and pleasure. Ask: What brings me joy?
  • Solar plexus (Manipura) — upper abdomen; will and confidence. Ask: Where do I hold back my voice?
  • Heart (Anahata) — chest; love and compassion. Ask: Who needs my kindness, including me?
  • Throat (Vishuddha) — honest expression. Ask: What truth do I want to say gently?
  • Third eye (Ajna) — brow; insight. Ask: What do I already know but avoid seeing?
  • Crown (Sahasrara) — top of the head; meaning and connection. Ask: What gives my life purpose?
